Ambient Environment Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) This mod adds visual noise, or color variation, to various elements that make up the different biomes in Minecraft. This means that the appearance of areas with vegetation will no longer be uniform but will become irregular in terms of color tones. In fact, this effect already exists in the Bedrock version of Minecraft but not in the Java version.
With this mod installed, grass, water, and tree leaves will have subtle color differences among themselves. This visual noise will make the world’s appearance more varied and vibrant than the default version. In the image below, you can see a comparison of the same terrain with and without visual noise. The top image is without the mod installed, and the bottom image is with the mod installed.

How to install Ambient Environment Mod in Minecraft?
- Download Forge
- Download Ambient Environment Mod
- Double click on the downloaded Forge file to run the installer.
- Paste the downloaded mod file into the .minecraft/mods folder
- Beware of dangerous objects, do not go to take damage!
