Useful Hats Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) This is a mod that will allow us to craft a set of hats, caps, and helmets that, in the vast majority of cases, besides being cosmetic items, will provide various benefits to our character. However, it’s worth noting that there are certain cases where these garments are purely decorative and won’t offer any benefits.
Let’s explore what these new items have to offer. Firstly, we can craft a purely cosmetic cap that can be dyed with any color. The Mailman’s Hat will provide us with Speed, but it will also induce the Hunger effect. The Lumberjack’s Hat allows us to chop wood 20% faster. The Top Hat enables us to dig 20% faster. The Lucky Hat grants us the Luck effect while we have a sword, axe, or fishing rod in our character’s hand.
Regarding helmets, we can craft the Miner’s Helmet that grants us Night Vision and allows us to mine 20% faster. The Aquanaut Helmet provides us with the Conduit Power effect for one minute, along with limited visibility. The Winged Helmet gives us the Slow Falling effect, but the helmet might fly off if enemies appear. Lastly, the Halo will prevent regular enemies from attacking us, though it won’t work against bosses, and we must be cautious when using it in the Nether.
