Better Dogs Texture Pack (1.20.1, 1.19.4) This texture pack doesn’t focus on providing new textures for all elements of the game; instead, its main focus is to introduce a new model for wolves and add up to twenty-nine new dog breeds, each with at least two aesthetic variants.
With this texture pack installed, in addition to wolves, we will encounter the following dog breeds: Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Belgian Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Boxer, Beagle, Corgi, Husky, Border Collie, Dachshund, Rottweiler, Doberman, Dalmatian, Labrador, Pug, Saint Bernard, Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, Great Dane, English Bulldog, Neapolitan Mastiff, and Samoyed, among others.
Although the new textures for wolves in this texture pack have the same resolution as the default game textures, which is 16x, this texture pack requires the installation of Optifine to generate the different dog breeds and their various variants. Optifine provides the necessary features and optimization to incorporate these new dog models into the game.
