Limited Lives Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) This mod aims to add a bit of challenge to the game by introducing a limited life system. Unlike the standard gameplay, where players simply respawn after death, and unlike Hardcore mode, where the game is deleted upon death, this mod falls somewhere in between.
With this mod installed, each time our character dies, one heart will be removed from the player’s health bar. As a result, there will come a point where the character will revive with only one heart of health left. After dying with just one heart remaining, the player will enter Spectator mode.
This unique gameplay mechanic will force players to be more cautious and strategic in their actions, as they will have to manage their limited lives wisely to survive in the challenging world of Minecraft. It adds a layer of tension and excitement, making each life more precious and rewarding careful play.
