Doing this with a wooden or gold shield will inflict some damage on the attacker. However, using an iron, diamond, or Netherite shield will not only push the attacker back but also reflect a portion of the damage they would have dealt to you. Additionally, this mechanic allows players to bypass the cooldown time and enables them to block projectiles effectively.
By introducing these shield mechanics, the mod enriches Minecraft’s combat gameplay, encouraging players to strategize and make tactical decisions during battles.
